Xiaomi’s new Poco X6 Processor represents its latest attempt at delivering an affordable device with competent performance. How much more powerful is the Poco X6 Pro compared to the Poco X5 Pro, though? Well, a lot more, it seems.

The alleged performance of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 has leaked thanks to Digital Chat Station on Weibo. Based on the leaked Geekbench score of the Dimensity 9400 and the previously revealed performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, both chips are close to each other in multi-core performance.

With this sale embargo lifted, we've started to see benchmarks of the AMD Ryzen 8000G series desktop APUs. One of such has brought a critical flaw to AMD's attention. The AMD Ryzen 5 8600G and Ryzen 7 8700G currently have a bugged firmware that makes them thermally throttle shortly after being pushed to the max.

AnTuTu has revealed the best high-performance Android flagship and mid-range phones of January 2024. In both categories, MediaTek chipsets secured #1 spots. More specifically, the Oppo Find X7 with Dimensity 9300 is at the top spot in the flagship list, while the Redmi K70E with Dimensity 8300 Ultra is in the first spot in the mid-range list.

A new leak has now outed benchmark results for what is claimed to be the two next-gen mainstream Android flagship chipsets, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400. Both chipsets seemingly crush their predecessors on Geekbench and AnTuTu, posting numbers that would indicate around a 50% performance upgrade across CPU and GPU.

About a week before launch, two AMD Ryzen 8000G processors have popped up on Geekbench: the Ryzen 7 8700G and the Ryzen 5 8600G. According to the scores, the new chips are achieving up to 30% better in single-core tests than their Ryzen 5000G predecessors.

The recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra brings premium specs to the table. With that, it stands as a device capable of delivering fast performance, even better than the iPhone 15 Pro Max in some aspects. For example, as Jazz Disk Bench results show, it can offer up to 75% better storage transfer speed than Apple’s flagship smartphone.

The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7980X has turned up on PassMark and immediately left its mark near the top of the CPU Mark table. The Zen 4-based Storm Peak part defeated all EPYC and Xeon chips in its path and was only kept off the top spot by Threadripper PRO 7000 SKUs. AMD calls the Ryzen Threadripper 7980X the "world’s most powerful high-end desktop processor".

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inside the Xiaomi 14 Pro has now been tested to measure the raw performance and efficiency of the big Cortex-X4 CPU core. The tests, which were conducted by Golden Reviewer, depict the Cortex-X4 to pack a 14% performance bump over the Cortex-X3 inside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2+ while utilizing a concerning 28% more power.

However, its immediate successor the 9 Pro could be even better adapted thanks to an upgrade to the upcoming 8 Gen 3, according to a new leak.

The Find N3 Flip is projected to emerge as OPPO's latest premium clamshell foldable Android smartphone soon. The putative device has allegedly surfaced on Geekbench in advance of that event. The new leak purports to reveal that it will not have the same SoC - or amount of RAM - as the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5.
