MediaTek has had a good run in AnTuTu’s performance rankings for the past few months. As a matter of fact, the Dimensity 9300 has dominated the flagship chart since the release of the Oppo Find X7. But it’s time at the top spot came to an end. As revealed by the latest AnTuTu performance chart for March 2024, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro (available on Amazon) with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 now holds the first spot.
To be specific, the ROG Phone 8 Pro got an average score of 21,41,448 points on the latest flagship performance chart of AnTuTu. The previous topper, Oppo Find X7, has an average score of 21,38,119 points. While the difference between the two isn’t huge, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 definitely saw a noticeable leap from the last charts.
Although Qualcomm is also leading the mid-range performance list from AnTuTu, the story is a little different. Unlike the flagship chart, it’s a newly launched Snapdragon SoC that has taken the first spot in the mid-range list. More specifically, it’s the OnePlus Ace 3V with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 that’s on the top of this chart.
On the mid-range list shared last month, the Redmi K70E with the Dimensity 8300 Ultra had a noteworthy difference from Qualcomm’s offering in this segment. However, with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, Qualcomm finally has a performance-focused smartphone SoC for this segment.
As for the scores, in the latest AnTuTu mid-range chart, the OnePlus Ace 3V holds the top position with 14,66,728 points, while the Redmi K70E has an average score of 13,91,125 points. Check the images attached below for the scores of each phone in the top 10 positions in both flagship and mid-range lists.
It’s worth mentioning that benchmark scores aren’t enough to gauge the overall performance of smartphones. In addition to scoring well in synthetic benchmarks, a good phone should also perform well in real-world, everyday use.
