Reports from both Nikkei Asian Review and Bloomberg have stated that Sony is practically doubling the initial production run of the PlayStation 5. The effects of the coronavirus pandemic, including more people staying at home, have seen a rise in demand for home entertainment solutions. Sony reportedly wants 10 million PS5 consoles ready by the end of 2020.

Although the official price and pre-order information for the PS5 Blu-ray console and PS5 Digital Edition console has yet to be revealed, PlayStation fans can still be prepared for the inevitable pre-order frenzy when Sony finally gives the green light. The game is officially a sequel to Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, which was released at the end of 1998. Crash Bandicoot 4 is available for pre-order and will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020.

The announcement trailer for the upcoming PS5 game Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales has been removed from the official PlayStation YouTube channel because of a copyright claim made by the French game publisher Gameloft SE. Gameloft was involved in the development of Spider-Man related games such as the endless runner Spider-Man Unlimited.
