Winter showdown. In our tests over the past three months, there were new Apple iPhone 16 series phones, exciting foldables, and new Google Pixel 9 series phones, and a host of other devices, though not all completely convinced us with their concepts. However, the mid-range also brought exciting new devices and there was something for all data protection fans as well.

It was a busy fall for our test editors: New laptops with brand new Intel Lunar Lake and AMD Strix Point processors hit the shelves. As if that wasn't enough, Apple also introduced the M4 chip in its MacBook Pro laptops.
