Two critically acclaimed games worth over $50 in total are set to be available as freebies on the Legion Gaming Community. Among the two, one game giveaway will take place on November 12, while the other will happen on November 26.

Lenovo holds giveaways from time to time on its Legion Gaming Community. In October 2025, for example, the platform gave away a well-rated indie puzzle title, Shady Part of Me. The 2025 game giveaway lineup has now been revealed, and it includes two critically acclaimed games.

One of them is Frostpunk, a 2018 city-builder that was developed by 11 Bit Studios. Since its release, it has received many nominations, and it has been praised by many critics. The game is set in an alternate 19th-century world with a global volcanic winter-induced freezing.

As leaders, the players are tasked with building and managing a city, and every decision determines the survival of the people living within. While this upcoming free game is praised for its emphasis on crisis management and moral dilemmas, players note that it has limited replayability. The micromanagement can also feel repetitive at times.

Frostpunk usually costs $29.99 when it's not on sale, but on November 12, 2025, a limited number of copies will be given away on Legion Gaming Community. As for the second free game for November 2025, it's Children of Morta, a story-driven RPG that was released in 2019, and like the former, it has received many nominations.

At the core, Children of Morta is a hack-and-slash game with roguelite elements. It puts players in a procedurally generated world, making every experience somewhat unique. The story is about the Bergson family, guardians of Mount Morta, and its hand-drawn pixel art visuals have received much praise. There's full support for controllers as well (8BitDo Ultimate 2C curr. $23.99 on Amazon).

However, some note that the combat system of this upcoming free game is not as refined as that of other roguelite games. The game's story, while heartfelt, has also been criticized by some for being a bit too linear.

Children of Morta is worth $21.99, and limited free copies will be available on the Legion Gaming Community on November 26, 2025. You can learn more about these two upcoming freebies from the videos below.
