We recently reported that the base model of the latest 13-inch MacBook Air was selling for $799 on Amazon. However, that price has now dropped even further, by $50.
As of writing, the base model of the 13-inch M4 MacBook Air, featuring 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, is available for just $749.99 on Amazon. You can save an additional $60 by applying for the Amazon Store Card and getting instant approval, which brings the price down to $689.99.

Everything we said in our review of the base 13-inch M4 MacBook Air applies to this model as well. If anything, this one should offer slightly better performance and faster SSD read and write speeds, considering it has more system memory and an SSD with more storage. Needless to say, this is one of the best deals available if you're thinking of buying an affordable yet value-for-money MacBook.
