So much for a common market. While Vivo and Oppo are now much more active in Europe in 2025 than in recent years, a uniform presence across all EU countries is still a long way off. Each country continues to operate independently with regard to the availability of the latest camera flagships such the Vivo X300 Pro and to sales prices and pre-order promotions.
This is particularly evident in the current situation surrounding the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, both of which launched last week at a major event in Barcelona. While the German Oppo website remains dormant due to the Nokia patent lawsuit, the Austrian website at least offers current product information, though not (yet) an order option. This is because sales of the new Oppo flagships in Austria will not begin until the end of November.
Things get more interesting in the countries where the Oppo Find X9 and Oppo Find X9 Pro are already listed for order. We checked all the European Oppo websites and discovered some interesting price differences across Europe. While the official retail price is €999 for the Oppo Find X9 and €1,299 for the Pro model everywhere, some pre-order promotions and bundle offers mean you pay significantly less in Spain than in the Netherlands, for example. Spain in particular is offering attractive deals at launch:
Spain: Free Oppo Watch X2 and €120 discount
In Spain, there is currently a $120 discount thanks to the SAVE120X9Pro discount code. In addition, you can add either the blue or black model of the Oppo Watch X2 to your shopping cart for free, which has an official value of $349. This means you effectively get the Oppo Find X9 Pro for €830 instead of €1,299 if you also need the Oppo smartwatch at the RRP. The downside is, however, that shipping via the Oppo store only works within Spain, and Amazon Spain is not currently offering this promotion. According to Oppo Spain, the Oppo Find X9 Pro will be shipped in 11 days, so if you have relatives or friends in Spain, you'll be able to get your hands on the Oppo Find X9 Pro quite soon. This offer also beats the price for importing the Oppo Find X9 Pro via retailers such as Average Dad, where buyers currently pay €1,150, including shipping costs.
France and Benelux countries
While there's currently no discount code in France, pre-order customers also get the Oppo Watch X2 for free with the Oppo Find X9 Pro, which is also being shipped there soon. We failed to find any similar pre-order promotions in the Benelux countries; only a bundle offer with free Enco Air4 Pro earbuds and the Supervooc 80W charger.
Italy and Romania offer bundle deals and some discounts
While we haven't found any specific Oppo Find X9 product pages in Eastern European countries such as Hungary, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Croatia or Poland, as well as in Northern Europe, there is an interesting pre-order deal in Italy. There, you can get a $100 discount on the Oppo Find X9 Pro when you sign up for the newsletter and choose between two bundle offers, either one with the Oppo Watch X2 or one with Enco X3i EarBuds, a case and a power bank. In Romania, on the other hand, Oppo is offering an expanded bundle deal consisting of the Oppo Watch X2, an 80-watt charger and an aramid protective case for 6,500 lei, which is equivalent to €1,276. However, you can't add anything to your shopping cart yet, as shipping won't start until November.
Summary: The European market remains an illusion for Oppo for now
Our brief overview of Oppo's European country-specific websites reveals one thing above all: each country is doing its own thing. Different availability, different deals, different online stores. Oppo is still miles away from a common EU market, though Vivo is not doing much better at the moment. Of course, this is also related to the aftermath of the Nokia patent lawsuit, which in some cases led to the dissolution of entire teams in certain countries. In any case, we hope for German Oppo fans that there will be pre-order deals as attractive as those currently available in Spain and parts of Italy when the device becomes available in Austria. Those who can order in Spain will get the best deal in the EU, while everyone else may want to consider importing from other regions. In addition to the Average Dad Shop in the UAE, Wondamobile is also offering the global model for €1,037, although it is currently unavailable.
