Vivo has officially introduced the X300 series in the global market, and the X300 Pro is the company's current top-end flagship phone. It's powered by the Dimensity 9500, the latest performance-focused SoC from MediaTek, but compared to the Chinese model, the global variant sees a battery downgrade.
For reference, the Chinese Vivo X300 Pro features a 6,510 mAh battery, while the global variant comes with a 5,440 mAh battery. Fortunately, the international model retains the 40 W wireless charging and 90 W wired fast charging support (145 W Baseus 20K power bank curr. $69.99 on Amazon).
The camera setup remains the same as well. It features a 50 MP Sony LYT-828 primary camera on the back, which is paired with a 200 MP Samsung HPB telephoto, and a 50 MP JN1 ultrawide. Vivo highlights that the cameras are backed by the Pro Imaging Chip VS1. This combination promises clear details, brighter shots in low-light conditions, and detailed videos. The photos we captured with the phone (attached below) do look impressive.
In addition to the phone, the company has brought the photography kit outside the Chinese market. One of the options offers the ZEISS 2.35x telephoto extender kit, which, as the name suggests, extends the zoom of the telephoto sensor. Per our tests, the teleconverter can indeed offer detailed zoomed shots, especially in daylight.
As for the front, the Vivo X300 Pro has a 50 MP Samsung JN1 as the selfie camera. Other highlights of the flagship phone include a 6.78-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, IP68/69 water and dust-resistance ratings, and Android 16 out of the box.
In the EU, the Vivo X300 Pro is available in 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, and it costs €1,399. Check out our hands-on video review below to learn more about this new flagship camera phone.
