Earlier this week, Xiaomi kicked off its HyperOS 3 global software rollout with the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro. For context, the company announced the pair last month alongside the global version of its latest Android update. However, it ships both with HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. As a result, both smartphones will likely finish on Android 20, one Android version later than the more expensive Xiaomi 15 (curr. $902 on Amazon).
Incidentally, the Xiaomi 15 is now the third device that is eligible to receive HyperOS 3 globally. According to multiple sources, the update has arrived as HyperOS 3.0.4.0.WOCEUXM for those with the EU version of the Xiaomi 15. While a stable build, the likes of GSMArena report that Xiaomi is currently restricting the rollout of HyperOS 3.0.4.0.WOCEUXM to its Mi Pilot participants.
In other words, it could take a few more days before Xiaomi offers HyperOS 3 to more Xiaomi 15 owners. As the screenshot below shows, HyperOS 3.0.4.0.WOCEUXM contains the October 1 2025 set of Android security patches. Please see the corresponding Android Security Bulletin for full details about the security issues these patches resolve.
As for HyperOS 3.0.4.0.WOCEUXM, GSMArena notes that the update is around an 8.2 GB download. More details about Xiaomi's latest major OS update can be found in our original HyperOS 3 launch article. Also, the company has already revealed its full HyperOS 3 global rollout schedule, a copy of which we have embedded below.
