Xiaomi is rolling out a new global update for its HyperOS launcher, improving performance and stability across Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco smartphones. The update, labeled RELEASE-6.01.02.1321-10302137, is now available through an over-the-air (OTA) rollout and works smoothly on both Global and China builds of HyperOS.
According to early testers, the latest launcher version feels faster and more fluid. App transitions, animations, and memory handling have all been noticeably improved. Testers also report quicker app switching, especially on devices powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and MediaTek Helio chipsets.
This development follows the company’s recent progress in expanding HyperOS 3 support, as previously reported by Notebookcheck, that saw the company begin rolling out its stable Android 16-based firmware to 20 more models earlier this month.
Users can check for the new launcher update by opening the System app updater or navigating to Settings → About phone → System apps updater. The update is rolling out gradually, so availability may vary by region and model.
Xiaomi is reportedly working on further HyperOS 3 refinements, including a redesigned control center, dynamic icons, and AI-powered app grouping. Internal testing indicates these features are in development and could roll out in early 2026.
