Xiaomi has now formally begun the rollout of HyperOS 3 globally, with the company making an announcement to that effect on X yesterday.
The recently released Xiaomi 15T phones have the honor of being the first devices to get the HyperOS 3 update, which is unlikely to thrill owners of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra—both of which are considered to be more premium devices than their 15T series cousins.
As it stands, however, it appears the OTA isn't actively being rolled out yet, although that will change in a matter of days. When the rollout does begin, it will likely be a staged one with owners in Europe expected to receive the update first.
Going by Xiaomi's own release schedule, the Xiaomi 15T duo rollout will be followed promptly by updates to the Xiaomi 15 series, Redmi Note 14 series, and the Poco F7 and Poco X7 lineups. The next stage of the rollout, expected to begin in late November, will then include the Xiaomi 14 series, Poco F6 series, and a slew of other devices released in 2024.
