The Pixel 10 series is powered by the Tensor G5 SoC. Along with overall performance and efficiency improvements, it has brought some concerns in terms of GPU performance and speakerphone issues. There have been reports of the new GPU in the Tensor G5 struggling in AAA games, but google has stated it is working on a driver update to improve performance. Some Pixel 10 and Pixel 9 series owners have also reported a buggy speakerphone button in the Phone app, an issue that Google has refused to fix due to “not having enough actionable information.”

Despite these issues, September was the best-selling month for Google, likely owning to deeper AI integration and ease of switching from iPhones.
