Google now appears to have finished up its flagship Pixel 10 smartphone series after releasing the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL simultaneously on August 28. While those trio were joined by the Pixel 10 Pro Fold during an August 20 launch event, it took Google around six weeks to begin shipping pre-orders of its latest foldable (curr. $1,799 on Amazon).
As such, attention has now turned to what Google has next in store for its smartphone division. Unsurprisingly, the company is expected to return to the mid-range with the Pixel 10a, which Android Headlines has now showcased across a series of CAD render images. For context, rumours about the Pixel 10a first surfaced as far back as January 2025.
More recently, another leak reiterated that the Pixel 10a will launch with the same Tensor G4 chipset as the current Pixel 9a. Reportedly, next year's mid-range Pixel will be marginally shorter and narrower than its predecessor without dropping from a 6.3-inch display size. If Android Headlines' reported 153.9 x 72.9 x 9 mm dimensions are accurate, then the Pixel 10a may offer a slightly higher screen-to-body ratio than the Pixel 9a, too.
Other than that, the Pixel 10a is the spitting image of its predecessor with an almost flat camera housing accompanied by a curved body and a flat display. Currently, Google is expected to replace the Pixel 9a in spring 2026. Exact launch details and specifications remain unknown for now, though.
