Google details fresh improvements for Pixel 10 Pro and older Pixel devices with new round of updates

Google is rolling out a new update for dozens of Pixel devices as far back as the Pixel 7 series. Building on last month's update when Google fixed early Pixel 10 issues, the October 2025 update is said to address outstanding issues across the Pixel range, including one bug fix specific to the Pixel Tablet (curr. $249 on Amazon).

As the changelog below shows, Google claims to have resolved a Pixel Tablet issue that could cause system instability under certain but only occasional conditions. Meanwhile, all Pixel 7 series devices should no longer experience display flickering and sudden shutdowns that could have occurred on earlier software. On top of that, all Pixel 10 models have received a fix for an issue that froze displays or created fuzzy images.

Google reports that this month's update offers camera and Media Output Switcher UI fixes, too. Please note that all Pixel devices from the Pixel 7 series through the Pixel 9 series will receive the October 2025 update as BP3A.251005.004 globally. By contrast, Google will update the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL to BD3A.251005.003. The full changelog is as follows:
