Lenovo is offering a new Yoga Book 9i 9th gen at CES 2024 albeit as a minor refresh to the 2023 version. The Yoga Book 9i 9th gen is a dual-display convertible that now features Intel 14th gen Core Ultra Raptor Lake-U CPUs. Other specifications including the dual 2.8K OLED, 5 MP camera, 3x Thunderbolt 4 ports, and 80 WHr battery remain unchanged.

Acer is refreshing the Nitro 17 at CES 2024 with Intel Raptor Lake-HX options up to the Core i7-14700HX. Other aspects including the 17.3-inch QHD 165 Hz display, liquid metal TIM for the CPU, RTX 4060, and 90 WHr battery remain unchanged from last year.

Lenovo is introducing a refreshed LOQ 15 lineup at CES 2024. The new LOQ 15 includes SKUs powered by Intel Core i7-14700HX and AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS along with entry-level options featuring the Alder Lake Core i5-12450HX. Lenovo also offers a choice of RTX 4050 and RTX 4060 GPUs along with Arc A350M in the LOQ 15AX9I, but the LOQ 15AHP9 is restricted only to the EMEA.

The Alienware m18 R2 has been officially announced at CES 2024. Apart from the CPU swap to Intel's 14th-gen HX models, the remaining specs are the same as last year's models.

The IdeaPad Slim 5i has been unveiled at CES 2024 with a 15-inch 16:10 screen, up to 32 GB RAM, a 1 TB SSD and Windows Hello functionality. Its price and availability will be announced later.

New Predator Helios 18 and Predator Helios 16 variants have been announced at CES 2024. They're essentially the same as last year's models, with a processor upgrade.

The Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition, Acer's creator-centric laptop, has been announced at CES 2024. It supports Acer's suite of SpatialLabs software and can even use AI to make 3D models out of 2D images.

18-inch laptops are seeing increased adoption and MSI is now adding such a model to the Creator lineup among others. Along with the Tiatn 18HX, the CreatorPro X18 HX is said to be the world's first to feature the new 18-inch 3840 x 2400 MiniLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate. It also supports up to 128 GB DDR5 RAM and comes with Nvidia RTX 3500 / 5000 Ada generation professional GPUs.

The refreshed Z17 HX is powered by up to an Intel Core i9 14900HX CPU complemented by up to 64 GB DDR5 RAM and a PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD. Highlights also include a 17-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS touchscreen with MSI Pen 2 support, dual Thunderbolt 4 connectors, Wi-Fi 7 and the new SD Express card reader.

Intel has launched five new processors for gaming laptops. Unlike Meteor Lake, they stick to Intel's Raptor Lake designs and bring incremental upgrades across the board.

MSI just announced the Raider 18 HX at CES 2024. It features a Core i9-14900HX, GeForce RTX 4090 (and lower), up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 4K 120 Hz screen.

An e-commerce listing has revealed the key specs of the MSI Titan 18 HX. The laptop's CPU and GPU have access to 270 Watts in total. Other features include support for 128 GB RAM and 4 TB storage.

It seems that Xiaomi is applying the finishing touches to a new gaming laptop. Previously known as the TM2211, the Redmi G Pro 2024 will arrive later this year with Intel Raptor Lake-H processors and a modern NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU, among other features.

A new leak shows off Intel's upcoming desktop processor, the Core i9-14900KS. It is fundamentally a Core i9-14900K with a 6.2 GHz P core boost clock.

Now that the first laptops with Intel Meteor Lake have been delivered, the launch of Raptor Lake Refresh is imminent. One of these processors, which is intended for particularly powerful gaming laptops, has already been put to the test at Geekbench.

MSI will be unveiling an upgraded Titan 18 HX at CES 2024. The flagship gaming laptop will feature the world's first 18-inch 4K 120 Hz mini-LED display with 1000 nits peak brightness and a 2 million:1 contrast ratio, and each unit comes factory-calibrated for accurate color reproduction. The company hasn't detailed any specifications but expect to see SKUs powered by Intel Raptor Lake-HX Refresh CPUs and Nvidia RTX 4090 Laptop GPU.

The Intel Core i7-14650HX has made its Geekbench debut. It adds two extra P-cores over its predecessor but keeps the E-core count unchanged.

Huawei has confirmed plans to offer the MateBook D 16 2024 in Europe. Designed to compete within the popular 16-inch laptop space, the MateBook D 16 2024 combines up to an Intel Core i9-13900H processor with a 1200p display and a 70 Wh battery but starts at €999 with lower specifications.

While the lid and socket compatibility seemed to have been "borrowed" from Intel's Alder Lake / Raptor Lake CPUs, the internals are somewhat different, as the KX-7000 processors only feature 8 cores with 8 threads running at a maximum of 3.7 GHz, and there is a DX12 iGPU as well, plus support for DDR5-4800 RAM and USB4.

This small mini-ITX motherboard comes with support for 96 GB DDR5-5220 RAM, 2x M.2 PCIe 5.0 SSD slots and even a PCIe 5.0 X16 slot for full-size GPUs. It also packs a compact cooling system for the i9-13900HX processor and the NVMe devices.

While the CPU and dGPU offer excellent value for this price, do not expect too much from the build quality and the display, as this is still a budget-oriented system after all. Also worth mentioning are the DDR5-5200 speeds on the 16 GB RAM and the 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The Acer Predator Orion X is a comparatively compact gaming PC at 336 x 257.5 x 179 mm (15.41 litres). Nonetheless, it should handle all triple-A titles with ease thanks to its combination of Intel Raptor Lake processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs.

The Topton X6C is a new compact mini-PC based around Intel Raptor Lake-U processors. Available for under US$400, the Topton X6C can be configured with up to 64 GB of RAM, a 2 TB SSD and has half a dozen 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports, among other features.

Two Amazon listings shed light on the upcoming Acer Predator Helios 18 and Acer Predator Helios 16. The former is listed for £3,200 (US$4,057) and the latter £2,800 (US$3,550). Both laptops could be unveiled at CES 2024 next year.

Xiaomi has refreshed the Redmi Book 14, a 14-inch laptop that mysteriously resembles an Apple MacBook Pro 14 in official shots. Arriving six months after its predecessor, the Redmi Book 14 2024 combines a 2.8K and 120 Hz display with a 56 Wh battery and a modern Intel processor, among other features.

Xiaomi has presented the Redmi Book 16 2024, a 16-inch laptop that debuts a day after the Huawei MateBook D 16 2024. Available with just an Intel Core i5-13500H processor, the Redmi Book 16 2024 also has a 120 Hz display and a 72 Wh battery that supports 100 W fast charging.

Huawei has updated the MateBook D 16, which it now sells as the MateBook D 16 2024. Theoretically, the MateBook D 16 2024 should pack considerably better performance than its predecessor thanks to the Core i9-13900H, an Intel Raptor Lake-H processor with 14 CPU cores. Huawei also includes a 1200p display and a 70 Wh battery, among other features.

The official Redmi Weibo handle revealed some of the RedmiBook 16's key specs. It will use an Intel Core i5-13500H CPU, LPDDR5X 6400 memory and come with two dedicated fans.

The LG Gram 15 (2023) features an Intel Core i7-1360P processor, up to 32 GB of RAM, a PCIe 4.0 SSD, as well as a 15.6-inch IPS touchscreen with Full HD resolution. It is currently available on Amazon starting at US$899.99, thanks to a sizeable Black Friday discount.

Razer's online store has revealed that all of its Black Friday deals are on its Blade-series models from 2022 - however, that does include the one with a 240Hz OLED displays, not to mention other options with up to RTX 3080 Ti graphics. These persistently powerful gaming machines now start at just under US$1,800, with the occasional added freebie and gift thrown in.

Besides the subpar screen that is expected from budget-oriented models, this configuration packs 16 GB DDR5-5200 RAM and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. The RTX 4070 dGPU is limited to 105 W TGP, but that is close enough to the optimal 115 W.

The MSI Katana 17 has received a hefty US$200 discount on Amazon, bringing its price down to US$1,199- the cheapest it has been listed for until now. It features a 17-inch 144 Hz screen, an Intel Raptor Lake-H processor and 32 GB of RAM.

The biggest discount of 49% is recorded on the previous gen Ryzen 9 5900X that is now down to US$288.99. On Intel's side, the previous gen i9-12900KS is 19% off at US$349.

It appears that Xiaomi is about to release a new gaming laptop, possibly under its Redmi G sub-brand. Seemingly, the company has developed two 14th Gen Intel Intel Core-based models, with the Core i9-14900HX serving as a flagship variant.
