OPPO is now believed to launch its latest Reno-series Android smartphones on a certain date in May 2023. The devices are projected to pack typical mid-range specs into new packages, with most genuine upgrades reserved for the higher-end Pro and Pro+ models. Then again, the vanilla model may be able to graduate to faster charging and triple rear cameras in 2023.

Google and iFixit announced a partnership to make replacement parts and tools for nearly every Pixel phone available. Furthermore, they are sold in a variety of markets worldwide - luckily for Australia-based teardown vlogger Hugh Jeffreys. The YouTuber tested the collaboration out on a broken Pixel 7 Pro.

Nubia is expected to break into the foldable smartphone market by the end of 2023. The new RedMagic 8 Pro is an Android flagship with the claim to fame of being the only gaming smartphone with an under-display camera (UDC). Tecno has now confirmed a switch to a pointedly distinctive rear camera housing in its latest Camon-series smartphones. iQOO's supposedly inaugural Pad is also now tipped to launch as an Android tablet with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus (or 9000+) SoC. The platform might give the first-gen slate an edge over its potential rivals from OnePlus or even iQOO's own parent company Vivo. On that note, it may also stand to boast a (nearly) unique aspect-ratio and a display with a top refresh rate for its category.

HTC's upcoming addition to its U series of smartphones is tipped to launch with what might be the highest-end collection of specs the once-iconic Android brand has gotten together as of late. Then again, they are still distinctly sub-flagship in nature, depicted as packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7-series chipset and a relatively pedestrian battery capacity into an arguably last-gen build.

Apple is once again tipped to produce its inaugural Ultra-class iPhone in 2023, with this alleged new 15-series flagship turning up in dummy form on a popular tech YouTube channel. Honor is now said to have a second-gen foldable flagship Android smartphone in the works. The successor to the Magic V is tipped to launch with a high-quality "custom" main display and, furthermore, to blow its competition away with a battery of an unusually large size for its form-factor. Then again, its closest rival might have the edge on it in other ways.

Vivo is now believed to have a new smartphone called the X90s in the works. Should that be the case, it should join the brand's most up-to-date line of 'mobile photography flagships' on its launch. It is slated to have the exact same specs as the pre-existing X90 thus far - with one potentially significant difference.

The OPPO Reno10 series is thought to be unleashed with a dramatic change in terms of design compared to their late-2022 predecessors. The Note 16 Pro's unique selling point on its launch preview is that it is a Ulefone device with an up-to-date version of Android out of the box. The new smartphone also boasts a 50MP main camera, a more-or-less modern "ultra-thin" build and a generous RAM-boosting feature - then again, some compromises have been made to get it to its "significant" launch-day special-offer price.

You can play games with any smartphone, but the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is tailor-made for this and is one of the best of its kind. Motorola has made its latest smartwatches official today. The Moto Watch 70 and Moto Watch 200 both have a form-factor most like the Apple Watch, although only one has an AMOLED display and an SpO2 sensor. Physical keyboards could soon return to be a part of OLED displays - sort of. Designers from Carnegie Mellon University claim to have proven that the panels are compatible with fluid-filled bumps that can act as a keyboard. They are deployed via an innovative pumping mechanism that can cause them to inflate at need.

More alleged specs have emerged for the supposedly upcoming super-flagship Android smartphone, which may indicate both advantages and disadvantages over the new Vivo X Fold 2 with the same SoC.

The best evidence yet that OPPO's supposed third-gen foldable flagship smartphone will re-brand globally as the "OnePlus V Fold" in 2023 has turned up in a new leak. It consists of a diagram that contains what might be a brand signature feature; then again, there are some issues with the tip in question.
