TCL CSOT 105-inch 5K Interactive Whiteboard hyped as OEM's new pro-grade display flagship
TCL CSOT is the R&D arm of an OEM increasingly well-known for its smart home-grade TVs. However, it is also committed to pitching its advanced display tech at industrial or commercial customers, which became apparent at the InfoComm 2023 expo in Orlando, Florida.
Indeed, CSOT hinted that it can help TCL come for other well-known brands in the digital signage or pro-grade screen spaces - even those such as ViewSonic - with its new 5K Interactive Whiteboard soon. Not only is this latest application of TCL's Huaxing polymer-stabilized vertical alignment (or HVA) technology over 100 inches in diagonal length, it also has a potentially useful and popular 21:9 aspect ratio.
TCL CSOT also applies its latest, "60,000 kinds of full-color domain" e-ink technology to its 25.3-inch E-Paper Digital Signage product, touted to deliver "more vivid" 3D corporate messaging at viewing angles of 178° or more.
It had been displayed at InfoComm 2023 alongside the 27-inch HFS FHD Moving Display, a portable "Touch-MOD" screen capable of switching between portrait and landscape orientation and constant 24/7 operation.
The 55-inch 4K Outdoor High Brightness Display is also rated for always-on use, in conditions up to and including "intense light and high-temperature environments" at up to 4,000 nits, thanks to components such as "high-stability TFT".
Those display products might thus be found on or in the commercial spaces of the future. The 2640×1980 21.3-inch Color Medical In-Cell Touch Display, on the other hand, might be found in next-gen healthcare centers instead. TCL CSOT touts it as an ideal screen to help physicians pan and zoom through the results of imaging studies in detail, and also in 10-bit color and at up to 1000cd/m² in brightness.
