LG tipped to cut into Samsung's iPhone 15 Pro-series display orders

Samsung took a disproportionate amount of orders for the OLED displays found in the iPhone 14 range during their production compared to other main display suppliers LG and BOE. The former is now said to have gained some ground back in this respect in 2023, having secured a contract to make an increased volume of "15 Pro" and "15 Pro Max" panels. Then again, Samsung may still be content with their additional vanilla "15" and "15 Plus" orders.

About 35% of this production cost went on the super-premium Android smartphone's class-leading new processor, with another ~14% going on its headlining rear cameras. The total bill is still less than that of an iPhone 14 Pro Max, at least.

OnePlus "11RT" tipped to launch with same display as OPPO Reno10 Pro Plus

OnePlus is now thought to launch a second-gen Ace Pro in China - which, if so, is an increasingly sure sign that it might debut as a new variant of the flagship 11 in the rest of the world. However, it might not have that Android smartphone's design this time around - in fact, it could look much more like the latest mid-ranger from OPPO instead.
