Huawei MatePad 11.5 debuts in Europe with launch-day offers
Huawei's latest MatePad for the European market is not to be confused with the pre-existing MatePad 11 (2023) due to its slightly larger 11.5-inch screen. Its eponymous 120Hz FullView Display has a TÜV Rheinland eye-protection certification and a 3:2 aspect-ratio.
It has a larger "fast-charging" 7,700mAh battery, however, packed into a metallic housing just 6.85mm thick. The tablet also packs quad speakers for audio enhanced with Huawei Histen algorithms and AI-powered noise cancellation.
The OEM declines to mention the name of the "4nm" processor on which the MatePad 11.5 runs, although it supports Wi-Fi 6 and HarmonyOS 3.1 features such as SuperHub and MultiWindow.
The MatePad 11.5 starts at €299 with 6GB of RAM, although it is also offered as a Huawei Store DE-exclusive bundle with the Smart Keyboard dock touted to make it as productive as a PC of analogous dimensions for €339, or €429 for a top-end 8GB version.
Either SKU of the new tablet comes with a compatible M-Pencil for free. Moreover, the code ANBCHECKMP115 is good for 5% off the new MatePad 11.5 until August 31, 2023.
