GMKtec has introduced the NucBox 8, a 119 x 119 x 24.5 mm mini-PC powered by the Intel Celeron N4100. Available for US$139.59, the GMKtec NucBox 8 also has 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and plenty of I/O.

The UM690 is the first Minisforum model to feature a mobile AMD Ryzen 6000 processor. It supports up to 64 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and if the integrated Radeon 680M is not cutting it, users can add a powerful external GPU via the included USB4 connector.

The new Windows on Arm dev kits cost more than double compared to the previous versions, but these mini PCs are still the most affordable Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 devices out there, and the specs are not shabby either, with 32 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a 512 GB NVMe SSD.

MINISFORUM is back with its third AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX-powered mini PC, namely the UM590. The powerful Zen 3 processor comes with a Radeon 8 iGPU and supports up to 64 GB DDR4 memory and multiple storage options. The prices start at US$459 for the barebone version, while shipments should start in about two months.

Shuttle has announced the XPC Slim DH610 and XPC Slim DH610S, a pair of mini-PCs based on current-generation Intel Alder Lake hardware. Sold as barebones units, the pair differ in a few areas, although they share more similarities than differences.

MINISFORUM has announced that the least expensive version of its 'Venus' (or UMxx0) mini PCs is now shipping to Europe. The Ryzen 7 4800U-powered compact desktop can support triple 4K monitors, has dual USB type C ports, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. It starts at just under US$330, albeit without RAM or memory included.

Beelink has introduced the GTR 6, a mini-PC powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX. To launch with up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and PCIe 4.0 storage, Beelink claims that the GTR6 will not be short of ports, either. Surprisingly, the Beelink GTR6 will contain four HDMI 2.1 ports, among other connections.

With a 13.9 L case, the NUC 13 Extreme is larger than most builds that support a desktop-grade GPU. Intel decided to provide even more room so that users can fit a 3-slot GPU, plus improve airflow. The "Raptor Canyon" will support up to i9 K desktop processors with up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and Intel is expected to unveil the full specs in two weeks.

The SEi12 with Core i5-1235U CPU, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB NVMe SSD, and Windows 11 license will begin shipping on October 26 for a starting price of only $459 USD.

AAEON has launched the UP Element i12 Edge, a mini-PC built around the Intel NUC 12 Compute Element. Ideal for industrial uses, the UP Element i12 Edge measures 152 x 125 x 48 mm and has modern features like 2.5 Gbit Ethernet and an AX211 Wi-Fi module.

Seeed Studio has announced new reComputer mini-PCs. Based on NVIDIA's powerful Jetson Orin Nano and Orin NX series, the mini-PCs will be available later this year and will start from US$199 in the case of Jetson Orin Nano variants.

ASUS has unveiled the ExpertCenter PN53, a mini-PC based on AMD's latest Ryzen 6000H series. Available with up to the Ryzen 9 6900HX and the Radeon 680M, the ASUS ExpertCenter PN53 also features DDR5 RAM, three drive slots and plenty of I/O.

Morefine has brought the S600 to Indiegogo, its powerful mini-PC that comes with the Core i9-12900H or the Core i9-12900HK. Also available with up to 64 GB of storage and a 1 TB SSD, the Morefine S600 starts at US$669 as a barebones unit with the Core i9-12900H.

It seems that Microsoft has certified the Surface Studio 3 and Project Volterra with the FCC ahead of their North American releases. While the FCC has not revealed too many Project Volterra details, it appears to have leaked the Surface Studio 3's design.

CPU options include the 15 W i5-1235U, i3-1215U and Celeron 7305 models from Intel. The Mars ADL mini PCs feature a Thunderbolt 4 connector and an SD card reader, as well as a proprietary cooling system that allows these processors to run at boost clocks in 55 W mode for a longer period.

The PN52 successor that launched earlier this year could arrive sooner than expected with processor options that include the Ryzen 5 6600H, Ryzen 7 6800H and Ryzen 9 6900HX, which integrate RDNA2 iGPUs. The USB4 connector is apparently missing from the port selection. There will be barebones models starting at €657, as well as variants pre-configured with RAM and storage starting at €850.

MINISFORUM has switched up its Elitemini B550 configurations, dropping the Ryzen 7 4700G entirely. In its place arrives a cheaper barebones configuration with no APU. Also, MINISFORUM is now selling a version with 64 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, which complement the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G.

MSI's latest IoT silent and compact mini PCs feature Intel’s Alder Lake-P ultra-low voltage processors with up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and support for NVMe + SATA storage, plus quad 4K video outputs and dual 2.5 GbE NICs. There is optional support for Wi-Fi 6 + BT and NANO SIMs.

Offered by the Kubuntu Linux developers themselves, the new Focus NX mini PC is powered by either a Core i5-1135G7 or i7-1165G7 and comes with premium features such as 2x Thunderbolt 3 connectors plus an SDXC card reader.

The Morefine M8S is a mini-PC powered by the Intel Celeron N5105, as well as 8 GB or 16 GB of DDR4 RAM. Measuring in at 88 x 88 x 39 mm, the Morefine M8S also has three HDMI ports, twin Gigabit Ethernet connections and replaceable storage, among other things.

The MSI PRO HM570TI-B I526 appears to be a laptop mainboard converted to desktop PC mini-ITX format. No pricing info, but the inclusion of a soldered Intel Core i5-11260H processor without too many bells and whistles suggests this is a budget-friendly product.

Morefine has presented the S600, a particularly powerful mini-PC equipped with Intel Alder Lake-H series processors. Also paired with multiple ports, the Morefine S600 will have SODIMM slots, space for NVMe PCIe 4.0 slots and a 120 W power supply, plus a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD.

Intel has revealed the NUC 12 Pro, a mini-PC codenamed 'Wall Street Canyon'. Equipped with Alder Lake-P processors, NUC 12 Pro should combine performance and a small footprint. Scheduled to start shipping next month, the NUC 12 Pro is already available to pre-order from US$749.

Framework now allows Framework Laptop owners to re-use their old motherboards as a mini-PC, courtesy of a 3D-printed case. However, it did not take Lenovo's lawyers to claim an infringement, causing Framework to drop its current design. Framework has turned a negative into a positive though, with a competition for Framework fans.

The new DeskMini TH60 / TH80 mini PC models come equipped with Intel's 11th gen Tiger Lake-H45 mobile processors and support up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM plus up to 4 TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 storage. Minisforum is offering barebones with no RAM and storage, as well as versions with up to 32 GB of RAM and 512 GB storage.

One of Intel's next-generation mini-PCs has emerged online in four retailer listings. To be sold as the NUC 12 Enthusiast but codenamed Serpent Canyon, the mini-PC series will be available with a choice of Intel Arc Graphics discrete GPUs. Prices could reach nearly US$1,500 for some configurations though, and may not start at less than US$1,000.

Not long after teasing them, MINISFORUM made the Intel-driven NUCXI5 and NUCXI7 mini PCs available for pre-order. Both feature NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 series video cards and can be configured as needed before placing the order. The prices start at US$859/US$1,029 for the barebone versions.

Beelink has released a new mini-PC based on the Intel Jasper Lake architecture, 10 nm processors with four cores and Intel UHD Graphics. Available with up to an Intel Celeron N5105, the Beelink U59 Pro features DDR4 RAM, an M.2 2280 slot and multiple ports, including dual HDMI connections.

HIGOLE has introduced the GOLE1 Pro 2022, a mini-PC powered by Intel Gemini Lake and Gemini Lake Refresh processors. Available with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, the GOLE1 Pro 2022 starts at US$199 with a Celeron N4000 and should start shipping in two months' time.

MINISFORUM has announced the UM580, a mini-PC powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H. Available from US$439, the MINISFORUM can be configured with up to 64 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. MINISFORUM has equipped the UM580 with plenty of ports too, including three USB Type-C ports and two HDMI connections.

Gateway has just announced an inaugural all-in-one (AiO) desktop as its latest addition to its new Walmart-based line-up. It hits the sub-US$400 mark with its specs, which include Intel Pentium silicon and a ~24-inch IPS FHD display. Then again, it comes with its own mouse and keyboard in the box, as well as a year's worth of Microsoft 365 Personal access for free.

MINISFORUM has teased two mini-PCs with thin and stylish designs. Based on Intel NUC X15 laptop kits, the pair will combine Intel Tiger Lake processors with discrete GPU options. Effectively a laptop without a display, the MINISFORUM NUCX15 and NUCX17 will be available later this year.

Prime Computer has upgraded the PrimeMini 5 to Intel Tiger Lake processors. Available with up to the Core i7-1185G7, the PrimeMini 5 offers passive cooling and plenty of I/O within a 177 x 114 x 55 mm chassis. Prices start at €945 with a Core i3-1115G4, 8 GB of RAM and a 250 GB SSD.

Intel’s 13th gen “Raptor Lake” processors are scheduled to launch later this year. Now a leaked roadmap suggests that Intel is planning to outfit the next-generation NUC Extreme desktop kits with the 13th gen chips. Codenamed “Raptor Canyon”, the NUC 13 Extreme will pack up to a 13th gen Core i9 CPU.

Shuttle has presented the XPC XH510G2, a 5-litre mini PC that supports 65 W Intel processors. Not only does the Shuttle XPC XH510G2 feature numerous ports, it ships with M.2 and PCIe slots. The Shuttle XPC XH510G2 starts at €379 as a barebones system, including taxes.

Mini-PC manufacturer GEEKOM is kicking off the first of three sales events this summer, offering up to US$140 (about 22%) off its Intel-based mini PCs. Devices on sale include the new Mini IT11, which boasts up to an 11th Gen Core i7-1165G7 with Intel Iris Xe Graphics.

Apple has added the Mac Studio to its Certified Refurbished program. With 10% savings on new models, the Certified Refurbished program could be a good option for those who do not qualify for Apple's student pricing.

The Pocket Reform mini laptop is set to integrate a few processor options like the NXP I.MX8M Plus or Raspberry Pi CM4 with ARM cores or even a RISC-V-based model from AMD / Xilinx. It also features a 7-inch 1080p screen and a mechanical keyboard with optical trackball.

FanlessTech has provided full specifications for the NUC 12 Enthusiast, which carries the codename 'Serpent Canyon'. Equipped with a Core i5-12500H or Core i7-12700H, the NUC 12 Enthusiast will also be available with up to an Arc A770M GPU. I/O and RAM choices appear to be rather strange though, especially considering the mini-PC's reliance on the new Alder Lake platform.
