Minisforum has launched the UN1270 mini PC in China. It comes with the Core i7-12700H CPU, up to 32 GB of RAM, and up to 1 TB of storage. The pricing is pretty attractive, with the barebone kit featuring a listing price of CNY2499, which converts to around $350.

Minisforum UN1270 broke cover in China as a brand-new mini PC from the brand. It comes with a compact form factor, measuring 127.8 x 129.6 x 54.3 mm with a volume of 0.9 liters, making it perfect for most setups. While it’s reasonably small in size, it has what it takes to handle heavy loads.

Specifically, the UN1270 mini PC sports the Intel Core i7-12700H CPU running at 4.7 GHz. Also, the top-specced version brings 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage, making the system capable of easily handling resource-intensive tasks. It can also support a 2.5-inch drive connected through the SATA port (Crucial MX500 1 TB curr. $57.29 on Amazon).

When it comes to the ports, the Minisforum UN1270 has two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, two USB 2.0 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Type-C, one HDMI, one DP, and one 2.5G Ethernet. Also, the mini PC has a robust cooling setup. Thanks to the silent fan, the system makes only 32 dB of noise on standby and 43 dB at full load.

Regarding the pricing, the barebone version of Minisforum UN1270 is currently listed on JD.com at CNY2499, which converts to around $350. On the other hand, the variant with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage is listed at CNY2999, about $420, which is very affordable for a mini PC with such specs.
