Geekom plans to launch new Ryzen 7000 series-powered mini PC
Geekom has showcased a brand new mini PC. It will likely be making its entry into the Chinese market next month. As the brand has previewed, the mini-computer comes with a metal body and features a compact form factor.
Under the hood, the new Geekom mini PC will pack the Ryzen 7000 series APUs. It will be available with the Ryzen 7 7840S and Ryzen 9 7940HS. These boast enough horsepower to handle heavy workloads and gaming (MINISFORUM Venus UM790 Pro with Ryzen 9 7940HS curr. US$615.90 on Amazon)
The mini PC also equips a generous number of ports, including 40 Gbps (likely Thunderbolt 3) and 10 Gbps USB Type-C ports. Both of these two USB-C ports have DisplayPort support. There are Type-A USB, 2.5 GbE Ethernet, and HDMI ports too.
Geekom is yet to reveal the name and pricing information of the mini PC. But as the brand has already showcased the system, these pieces of info should surface soon.
