Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, and Galaxy Watch 5 at Unpacked this year. Contrary to previous rumors, however, the company's next-gen premium earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, look set to miss out on that event.

Samsung has a slew of highly anticipated mobile products to bring to the market in a few months, and a new leak has now revealed launch details of the devices—the Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, and Galaxy Watch 5 series—well ahead of schedule.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be Samsung's next traditional flagship phone. While there's next to nothing known about the premium phone at this point, a set of concept renders have now surfaced, revealing what the Galaxy S23 Ultra looks like—in the artist's own head, at least.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 debuted last year with a massive US$1799 price tag. The company's foldable phones have typically come with a significant price premium but that may change in the future, with word on the grapevine claiming Samsung now has a mid-range foldable in the pipes—a Galaxy A Fold, if you would.

According to reports, Samsung has already started mass-producing the Galaxy Z Fold4. Rumoured to be launching this autumn, the Galaxy Z Fold4 is also now thought to contain an improved Under Panel Camera (UPC), along with a narrower hinge design than the Galaxy Z Fold3 has.

Samsung's plans for the Exynos 2300 have long been called into doubt. The flagship chipset, if launched, will power next year's Galaxy S23 series but new reports now provide conflicting information on the company's current stance.

According to a renowned leaker, the Galaxy Watch5 Pro will not retain the design of the Galaxy Watch4 Classic. Instead, both the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro may rely on the same capacitive display bezels as the Galaxy Watch4.

The entire Galaxy Z Fold4 spec sheet has been leaked online. It will pack a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC, 50 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP triple rear cameras, a 16 MP under-display selfie camera, up to 512 GB of storage and a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 25 W fast charging.

Samsung had reportedly planned to have as much as 310 million smartphones made in 2022. However, according to the latest word from production insiders, that figure is now down to as little as 280 million. The reduction in orders, linked to the ongoing war in Ukraine and a reduction in demand worldwide, is expected to hit the OEM's suppliers hard in 2022.

Samsung's US website has updated with some possibly improved trade-in deals for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend. A customer can get some Galaxy Watch4 SKUs free with the purchase of a new Galaxy Z Fold3, or up to US$1,000 off a Galaxy S22 Ultra with a trade-in - even if the device to be exchanged has a cracked screen.

Earlier reports claimed that Samsung could be ditching Exynos for the Galaxy S23 and S24 lineups in favor of a truly custom SoC on the Galaxy S25. New information, however, now reveals some early details of the Exynos 2300 that could power the Galaxy S23 next year, potentially calling those aforementioned reports into doubt.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 at Unpacked in August. New information has now also surfaced, revealing the premium earbuds' model number and case battery capacity.

According to reports, Samsung will begin offering the Galaxy A13 5G soon in Europe. For some reason, the company will introduce more colour options and memory configurations than it currently offers in North America. While the Galaxy A13 5G tops out at 64 GB of storage, a 128 GB option will be available in Europe, as will a cheaper 32 GB model that also has less RAM.

It seems that the Galaxy Z Flip4 will offer significantly better battery life than its predecessor. Not only will Samsung's next-generation foldable rely on the more efficient Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform, but the CCC in China also appears to have confirmed a notable uplift in battery capacity from the Galaxy Z Flip3.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus has now made its first solid visit to Geekbench ahead of its grand debut tomorrow. The flagship chipset rides on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and posts numbers better than the SoC it replaces, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Samsung is reportedly working on a brand new chipset for Galaxy devices. Development will start in 2023 and the silicon will make its debut alongside the Galaxy S25 series in 2025.

Earlier reports claiming that the Galaxy Z Fold4 would sport a 108 MP camera from the Galaxy S22 Ultra have now been called into doubt. According to word on the grapevine, the foldable will be equipped with a 50 MP main camera instead, but will also offer 3x zoom better than that of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Sony’s Xperia 1 IV smartphone has a price tag of US$1,599.99, which is a loyalty-testing +68.5% increase over the original US launch price of the Mark 1 model. In stark contrast, both Samsung and Apple have been more cautious with price hiking for their flagship devices, with the standard Galaxy S models actually becoming cheaper over the same time period.

According to reports, the Galaxy Watch5 Pro will debut with a more premium design than the Galaxy Watch4 or Galaxy Watch4 Classic. Purportedly, the Galaxy Watch5 Pro will not feature slim display bezels though, for one reason or another.

Samsung is gearing up to refresh the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite from 2020 with a new model. Badged as the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022), major details of the tablet have now surfaced, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset being the biggest change.

Currently, the Galaxy Watch4 series fly the flag for Wear OS 3, which will also be coming to the Pixel Watch later this year. While Google's first smartwatch is not due until the autumn, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic will be receiving a long-awaited Wear OS feature this summer instead.

The Sony Xperia 1 IV has been pitted against the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in a surface-scratching comparison by popular YouTuber Mrwhosetheboss. Although much of the video content was subjective, it was clear to see how the S22 Ultra certainly had the edge over the Xperia 1 IV in interior low-light photography.

High-resolution CAD-based renders of the Galaxy Z Flip4 have leaked, courtesy of @OnLeaks and 91mobiles. Not only will the Galaxy Z Flip4 arrive in new colourways, it will debut with thinner bezels and even a larger-looking cover display.

The Galaxy Z Fold4 may be a few months away from arriving, but @OnLeaks has already leaked high quality renders of Samsung's foldable smartphone. The leaker has also provided device measurements, underlining that the Galaxy Z Fold4 will be shorter than the Galaxy Z Fold3. Meanwhile, @UniverseIce alleges that the Galaxy Z Fold4 will be a fair bit lighter than its predecessor.

According to new reports, Samsung has altered the Galaxy Z Fold form factor for this year's model. Reputedly, the Galaxy Z Fold4 will have a shorter cover display than the Galaxy Z Fold3, along with a squarer foldable display.

After using 108 MP cameras on the S20 Ultra, S21 Ultra, and S22 Ultra, it appears Samsung may finally be gearing up for an upgrade. This upgrade will take the shape of a new 200 MP sensor, the ISOCELL HP3, that has yet again been tipped to feature on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Earlier reports claimed the Galaxy Z Flip4 would only get a modest 100 mAh battery capacity increase that would see it come equipped with a 3400 mAh unit. Word on the grapevine indicates otherwise, however, and for the better.

According to reports, Samsung is preparing to refresh the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. A new version of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite could be in the offing too, although the revised Galaxy Tab S7 FE may actually be a smaller 11-inch model.

The Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 will come equipped with 4400 mAh and 3400 mAh battery units respectively. According to new information, both phones will also offer the same charging wattage, which may be considered a polarising decision.

Reportedly, Samsung will shake up the colours in which it offers the Galaxy Z series this year with the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4. While there will be no return of Phantom Green for either smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip4 is set to gain some interesting colours, including a new gold option.

According to reports, Samsung will be making at least two modest improvements with this year's Galaxy Z Flip. Not only will the Galaxy Z Flip4 feature a larger battery than the Galaxy Z Flip3, but also a more spacious cover display. Purportedly, Samsung has decided to upgrade the Galaxy Z Flip to over a 2-inch cover display, which should deliver an improved user experience over the equivalent in the Galaxy Z Flip3.

The 200 MP ISOCELL HP1 debuted back in September as the world's first 200 MP CMOS sensor. Eight months later, the HP1 has yet to make an appearance on any smartphone but Samsung is already working on what appears to be a successor, with earlier reports indicating that it could feature on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Reportedly, Samsung has settled on the batteries with which it will equip the Galaxy Z Flip4. The changes from last year's model should deliver a higher battery capacity than the 3,300 mAh that the Galaxy Z Flip3 offers, but only just.

Counterpoint Research has now released a report providing insight into global 5G Android smartphone sales in February. Samsung utterly dominates with five entries in the top ten, thanks to stellar Galaxy A52s, Galaxy S22 Ultra, and Galaxy S21 FE sales.

According to DxOMark, the Galaxy S22 has differing battery life, depending on whether you purchase an Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 model. In certain scenarios, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered edition achieves significantly longer runtimes than its Exynos 2200 counterpart.

The Galaxy M53 5G is now orderable in Europe, but for less than its €469 expected price. In fact, the Galaxy M53 5G costs less than the Galaxy A53 5G, and will begin shipping on April 29. The Galaxy M53 5G ships with a Dimensity 900 SoC and a 108 MP camera, among other features.

Samsung is finally updating the Galaxy S10 devices in the U.S. to Android 12 through One UI 4.1. Built on top of Android, One UI is Samsung's proprietary software experience that powers Galaxy smartphones. One UI 4.1 brings several feature improvements the majority of which focus on the camera.

According to a new report coming from Korea, Samsung may have cancelled the Galaxy S22 FE. Supposedly, the company is yet to take any development steps for the phone and it now looks to be cancelled in a manner similar to the Galaxy Note series'.

Samsung may have released two versions of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, but both rely on the same camera hardware. Different ISPs within the Exynos 2200 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 result in varying image quality, each with their advantages and disadvantages.

Like its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip4 will likely be Samsung's best-selling foldable, but it appears Samsung will be loading up the more expensive Galaxy Z Fold4 with more upgrades. On the Flip side, changes are expected to be incremental—design-wise, at least.

New rumours allege that Samsung plans to drop the Galaxy Watch Classic brand after just one generation. In its place will arrive the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, details about which have leaked previously.
