European prices for the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 remain one of the missing pieces for both devices, with the pair having leaked extensively over the last few months. Incidentally, even Samsung has dropped a few hints about releasing next-generation foldables, covered separately. Additionally, Samsung is already accepting reservations for the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Galaxy Watch5 series and both Galaxy Z series foldables in the US.
According to Gizpaw, a European retailer listed both the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4, revealing prices, memory configurations and model numbers. Unfortunately, the website has not provided sources for either screenshot. Hence, we cannot verify the information contained below. As such, we would recommend exercising some scepticism for the time being.
Either way, the prices shown are non-standard, meaning that these will not be official price tags. Instead, we would expect Samsung to price the pair as follows:
- Galaxy Z Flip4 (128 GB): €1,079
- Galaxy Z Flip4 (256 GB): €1,159
- Galaxy Z Flip4 (512 GB): €1,279
- Galaxy Z Fold4 (256 GB): €1,849
- Galaxy Z Fold4 (512 GB): €1,999
As Gizpaw notes, these prices would make the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 more expensive across the board than their predecessors. However, these price changes are inconsistent and range from €30 to €100. Separately, the retailer has not listed a 1 TB version of the Galaxy Z Fold4, an anticipated new storage option for Samsung's larger foldable.
Conversely, the retailer shows a 512 GB option for the Galaxy Z Flip4; the Galaxy Z Flip3 topped out at 256 GB. Potentially, a 1 TB option could be exclusive to Samsung's home market, although it would be unclear why. For reference, Samsung will reveal the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 on August 10 at a Galaxy Unpacked event.
