First detail of the Galaxy S23 Ultra's 200 MP camera revealed
A while ago, it surfaced that Samsung's next-gen flagship phone, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, would arrive next year with a 200 MP camera. While prior information established that the flagship phone would not sport any of the existing 200 MP sensors, the identity of the phone's camera has now leaked.
As tipped by Ice Universe, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will debut with the ISOCELL HP2 as its main shooter. That sensor is currently unreleased but will, of course, have a resolution of 200 MP. The leaker appears to be certain of that information as well, claiming "almost 100%" confidence in the identity of the sensor.
While it's nice to know what sensor the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be equipped with, there's currently no information available on the actual specifications of the ISOCELL HP2. According to Ice Universe, it will be better than the ISOCELL HP1 Motorola is set to debut on the Moto X30 Pro. That sensor has a 1/1.22-inch physical size, and 0.64μm native pixels before 16-in-1 binning.
