WinFuture has leaked numerous details about the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, European and US pricing of which has already leaked. According to the website, it has also obtained an official product image, embedded above. Based on earlier leaks, Samsung will present the earbuds in three colours, which WinFuture claims Samsung has called Bora Purple, Zenith Grey and Zenith White.
Undoubtedly, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro feature a similar design to the Galaxy Buds Pro, introduced last year. However, Samsung has switched to a matte finish for its next-generation earbuds, as well as moving the position of its microphones. Potentially, this could be part of the earbuds' improved 'intelligent' active noise cancellation (ANC). Reputedly, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro will be capable of blocking out 'even the loudest ambient noise'; WinFuture has not divulged any specifics in this regard, though.
Conversely, the website has revealed that the Galaxy Buds2 Pro will offer Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and will support the Bluetooth LC3 codec. Seemingly, the earbuds will not be capable of utilising any Qualcomm aptX codecs, for which Samsung would have had to pay licence fees. Additionally, WinFuture reports that the Galaxy Buds2 Pro will provide up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge, and 29 hours before its carry case will need recharging. Incidentally, the earbuds should deliver IPX7 protection against water, which could prove handy. The Galaxy Buds2 Pro will debut on August 10 for €229 in the Eurozone and should begin shipping on August 26 in multiple markets.
