Samsung Galaxy S22: New Bora Purple colour option debuts ahead of Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 launches
Samsung has released another colour option for the Galaxy S22, currently the cheapest option in the Galaxy S22 series. While Samsung already sells the Galaxy S22 in multiple colourways, this new Bora Purple option may provide an early look into future Samsung Galaxy foldable smartphones. For reference, only Samsung's Thai subsidiary has announced this version of the Galaxy S22 so far, meaning that it may not launch globally.
Like Apple's mid-generation refresh of the iPhone 13 series, this new Galaxy S22 is functionality identical to all other Galaxy S22 handsets. Purportedly, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra in Bora Purple too. Incidentally, Bora Purple also features a colour complimenting frame and camera housing, unlike the existing violet colour option. In fact, Bora Purple makes the Galaxy S22 is very similar to the purple version of the Galaxy S21 FE that Samsung also sells.
According to WinFuture, Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 in Bora Purple too. Hence, Samsung has effectively shown at least one colour option for its upcoming foldable flagship smartphones, which are both expected to debut next month at a Galaxy Unpacked event. Unsurprisingly, Samsung is rumoured to have created multiple colour options for the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4. Allegedly, Samsung has dropped some of the colour options from last year's models, as we reported in May. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Flip4 is reported to be in line for Bespoke Edition colour options, which should give people plenty from which to choose when the smartphone arrives next month.
