Amazfit smartwatch users in Europe have reported that they can now access the Food Log tool in the Zepp app. This feature began beta testing in 2024 and has since rolled out to users in North America. Food Log allows users to track their calorie intake and macros by uploading images of what they eat to the app.

The Polar and TrainingPeaks integration is now available for beta testing. Users can connect their Polar Flow and TrainingPeaks accounts for automatically synced structured workouts. This allows many smartwatch users to access wrist-based training guidance, and TrainingPeaks targets can also be synced.

The Atari 2600 My Play Watch has launched for pre-order in the US. This non-connected wearable allows users to track various health metrics and play four retro games on their wrists. The watch’s design and sound effects are inspired by the Atari 2600 console, and it comes with interchangeable watch straps.

Garmin is rolling out a new stable update, version 13.19, to users of the Venu 3, Venu 3s and vivoactive 5 smartwatches. It follows a similar beta release, with an additional update for GCM translations for some users. The main change with version 13.19 is improvements to the voice assistant function for Android smartphone users.
