The Amazfit Active 2 (Round) smartwatch is receiving a new update. Software version 6.1.20.3, reported on Reddit, arrives a few weeks after the last release, version 6.1.20.2. This older update fixed a map-related issue on this wearable.
Now, software version 6.1.20.3 is rolling out globally to users of the Amazfit Active 2 smartwatch with another bug fix. This time, the company has addressed an issue linked to Strength Training workouts. A few weeks ago, users flagged that they could not save a workout upon completion, with details of the previous workout shown instead. According to the release notes for this latest update, the bug that was blocking these saves has been resolved. At the time of writing, it is unclear whether or not this latest update also fixes an older issue which causes some lag when scrolling through the app list.
Software version 6.1.20.3 is rolling out to users of the Active 2 (Round) smartwatch in phases. You will be able to download and install the update via the Zepp app when it reaches your country. It is unclear when the Amazfit Active 2 (curr. $75.99 at Amazon) will receive Zepp OS 5.0; this software recently arrived for the Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch.
