Google has now confirmed that it will be launching its next Pixel devices on August 20, ending speculation about the date when it will be replacing the Pixel 9, Pixel Watch 3 and other current generation Pixel devices. Based on current expectations, Google should begin shipping pre-orders for its upcoming devices starting August 28, too. Not to be perturbed, leaker billbil-kun has revealed launch prices for Google's next smartwatches ahead of time.
For context, Roland Quandt shared equivalent information about the Pixel 10 series a week ago. According to billbil-kun, the Pixel Watch 4 series will start at €399 for its 41 mm variant with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Meanwhile, an LTE variant that adds cellular connectivity via an eSIM will run to €499 while maintaining a 41 mm case size.
Likewise, a €100 gap is said to exist between the Wi-Fi only and LTE versions of the 45 mm version. In other words, the larger Pixel Watch 4 should reach at least France for €449 before rising to €549 when optioning LTE connectivity. In other words, all Pixel Watch 4 variants should price match their Pixel Watch 3 (curr. $309.99 on Amazon) counterparts. Presumably, this will apply to other key markets like North America and the UK too where the Pixel Watch 3 launched last year for $349.99 and £349.99, respectively.
