Amazfit is rolling out an update for the new Helio Strap, which launched globally in June 2025. This is the second update for this wearable, following the 3.0.2.2 release that arrived a couple of weeks after the launch.
Now, software version 3.0.6.4 has been reported by Helio Strap users on Reddit. This 2.24 MB file is said to bring two changes to the wearable. Firstly, the stability of the connection linked to the heart-rate broadcast feature has been optimized. This tool allows users to send heart rate data to compatible devices, including Garmin smartwatches. Early users have already confirmed an improvement in heart rate syncing.
Another change related to the heart rate metric is its data storage; the log can now be adjusted to store all-day heart rate data for up to 21 days. The final line in the software version 3.0.6.4 release notes states that there are “other feature enhancements and bug fixes”, without providing further details.
Typically, Amazfit pushes its firmware updates to users in phases. At the time of writing, it is unclear how many users of the Amazfit Helio Strap (curr. $99.99 at Amazon) have received this update.
