The Amazfit Balance 2 XT smartwatch has appeared in another filing. Rumors about this wearable began at the start of June 2025, when it was listed alongside the Balance 2, Active 2 Square and Helio Strap on a Zepp Health page. Since then, the Balance 2 XT has been spotted in an FCC filing and a document related to the contactless payment solution company EMVCo.
Now, an Amazfit smartwatch with model number A2547 has been spotted in the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) database. While this model number has been tied to both the Balance 2 XT and the rumored Balance 2 Runner smartwatches, a recently leaked Best Buy product page indicates that the Balance 2 XT has model number W2547GL4N, with the second through fifth numbers matching the final four digits in this SIRIM model number.
This latest filing does not reveal any further details about the smartwatch. However, it does suggest that we are getting closer to a launch. The specification of the Amazfit Balance 2 XT smartwatch remains a mystery. Earlier rumors suggest that it could be a premium version of the recently released Balance 2 smartwatch with a titanium shell. The Best Buy page did not appear to offer much in the way of accurate information, though images indicated that this unreleased watch will have Amazfit’s new BioCharge Energy Monitoring feature.
It remains to be seen when the Amazfit Balance 2 XT smartwatch will be officially launched, or how much it will cost. As a reminder, the original Balance 2 smartwatch retails for $299.99 (Amazon).
