Rumors suggest that a titanium version of the Amazfit Balance 2 smartwatch is on the way. It seems that this is the leaked Amazfit Balance 2 XT smartwatch, which was recently spotted on a Zepp Health webpage. The regular Balance 2 wearable was released in China in May 2025 as a successor to the original Balance watch.
Now, a report by AndroidTR seemingly reveals more details about the Amazfit Balance 2 XT smartwatch, with model number A2430. It is expected that titanium parts will replace the aluminum and fiber reinforced polymer casing of the standard Balance 2 wearable. It is unclear whether it will offer the same 1.5-inch AMOLED display and Sapphire crystal glass cover.
FCC filings for model A2430 indicates that it is slightly larger than the regular Balance 2, measuring 49 x 49 x 13 mm (~1.92 x 1.92 x 0.51 inches); the original measures 47.4 x 47.4 x 12.3 mm (~1.87 x 1.87 x 0.48 inches). It also indicates that the watch will come with two straps, as is the case for the standard Balance 2 and the Amazfit Active 2 Premium smartwatch (curr. $129.99 at Amazon). However, the material and color of the two bands remain unknown.
The Balance 2 XT, or the Balance 2 Titanium, will likely run on Zepp OS 5.0 like its predecessor. Whether it will offer additional features is currently unknown. According to AndroidTR, there could be a version of this watch with an NFC contactless payment feature, though the source of this rumor is not named.
Details surrounding the launch date of the Amazfit Balance 2 XT smartwatch remain unclear. A recent leak indicates that it could arrive in June 2025. As a guide on pricing, it is likely to be more expensive than the Balance 2 smartwatch, which retails for CNY 1,999 (~$277) in China.
