A new Amazfit smartwatch appears to have leaked: the Balance 2 Runner. The standard Balance 2 was released in China in May 2025 as a successor to the original Balance watch, launched in 2023. Earlier in June, rumors about a Balance 2 XT began; this is expected to be a premium version of the wearable with titanium elements.
Now, a report by AndroidTR points to a third variant of the Amazfit Balance 2 designed for runners. An Amazfit smartwatch referred to as model A2547 recently appeared in filings at the FCC, the body which regulates communication devices in the US. One document shows a mockup for a label for this smartwatch’s packaging. Here, a note refers to the watch with the code name “Warsaw”. AndroidTR has spotted code linked to Warsaw in some of Zepp Health’s software, linked to the name Amazfit Balance 2 Runner. It has also been speculated that this watch could be called the Amazfit Balance 2 SE.
Rumors suggest that the Balance 2 Runner smartwatch will have a round display with a 480 x 480 px resolution. It is expected to be equipped with sensors like an accelerometer, a gyroscope and an altimeter, with support for GPS. As such, it should allow users to monitor various health metrics and track their workouts. The watch is listed with similar measurements to the other Balance 2 models, 49 x 49 x 13 mm (~1.92 x 1.92 x 0.51 inches).
Amazfit has yet to officially announce the Balance 2 Runner or Balance 2 SE smartwatch. There is also no indication as to when it could launch or how much it would cost. As a rough guide, the original Balance 2 smartwatch is priced at CNY 1,999 (~$277) in China. It could be an alternative to the older Amazfit Cheetah Pro running smartwatch (curr. $179.99 at Amazon).
