Zepp Health is rolling out Zepp App 9.7 to users of Amazfit smartwatches. This appears to be a more significant app update; the last major release was version 9.5 in February 2025, which added a new feature allowing users to edit workout data.
With Zepp App 9.7, users can now search for watch faces. The Zepp Health team suggests that this has been a frequently requested feature. The update lets you search for a watch face using a keyword or a watch face ID. There is also the ability to copy a watch face ID, a tool which could come in handy if you wanted to share it with a friend.
In a recent blog post on Discord, the company also teased another improvement. Apparently, a future update will make it easier to uninstall any apps that you are no longer using. Mockups (below) show two-page layouts and an optional confirmation window. It is unclear when this tool will be rolled out to users of the Zepp app.
You can now download Zepp App version 9.7 from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. In other recent news, Zepp Health is also rolling out a new update for the Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch (curr. $234.99 at Amazon).
