Garmin is rolling out beta version 5.01 to the Lily 2 Active smartwatch. This is only the third beta update for this wearable, which was launched in October 2024. Earlier releases have tackled various bugs and added an Auto Pause feature.
The new beta release brings two new watch faces to users of the Garmin Lily 2 smartwatch. Plus, there is an adjustment for weather forecasts, which will now show incomplete data; previously, only the message “waiting for data” was shown if some information was unavailable. Your watch’s serial number is now shown on the About page and there is also a Bluetooth-related update. On top of this, there are upgrades for the Sensor Hub (34.10) and Text Translations (5.01).
At the time of writing, users have not flagged any new bugs in the beta version 5.01 release. The firmware is now available for all users of the Garmin Lily 2 Active smartwatch (curr. $249.99 at Amazon) who are enrolled in the testing program. It should be pushed to users automatically via Garmin Connect Mobile. If you wish, you can join the Garmin Beta Program through your Garmin Connect account.
