The Huawei Watch 5 has made its official debut at the company's special launch event in Berlin. Available in 42 mm and 46 mm variants, this new smartwatch starts at €449, and it's rated for up to 11 days of battery life.

Huawei has a new premium smartwatch in its portfolio, the Watch 5. Available in two variants, the larger variant of the wearable is rated for up to 11 days of battery life, while the smaller one can offer up to 7 days of runtime in the Ultra Long mode. The typical battery life ratings are 3 days for both of the wearables.

Among the two, the 46 mm Huawei Watch 5 features a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a 466x466 pixels resolution and an automatic brightness feature. As for the smaller variant of the smartwatch, it comes with a 1.38-inch panel with the same display resolution but is rated for up to 3,000 nits of brightness.

Both the variants of the Huawei Watch 5 come with many health and fitness features, including automatic SpO2 measurement, stress monitoring, and sleep monitoring. There are a host of sensors for these measurements, including an accelerometer, depth sensor, and optical heart rate sensor.

As for the build, the smaller 42 mm variant of the smartwatch is available with 316L and 904L stainless steel cases, depending on the model. On the other hand, the 46 mm Huawei Watch 5 is available with 316L stainless steel and titanium alloy cases. All of them come with ceramic rear covers.

There are multiple strap options available for both variants of the smartwatch as well. Other highlights of the Huawei Watch 5 include 3G and 4G network support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, and wireless charging. Regarding the price, both the 42 mm and 46 mm variants start at €449 in the EU, and they are available on the official website.
