Honor has published the first images of a smartwatch on Chinese social network Weibo, which will soon launch under the name Honor Watch Fit. The design is somewhat reminiscent of the Honor Watch GS 3, as the Honor Watch Fit also uses a round display and standard watch straps.
The new model, however, only has one button on the right-hand side of the case instead of two. The edges of the screen are concealed by a printed bezel. The images show the metal case with its glossy finish in silver, gold and black. In addition to a classic sport and leather strap, Honor also displays a strap that appears to be inspired by denim.
The images show a range of analogue and digital watch faces, including complications that display the current heart rate and calories burned. While Honor has only stated that the Honor Watch Fit will be launched in early summer, proven leaker Digital Chat Station has learnt that the watch will be officially unveiled in May.
According to the leaker's information, the Honor Watch Fit is 9.9 millimeters thin and weighs 26 grams. Nevertheless, a 495 mAh battery is said to be installed, which allegedly allows a runtime of up to 23 days, although this is probably only possible with the always-on display deactivated. The Honor Watch Fit is expected to be one of the thinnest and lightest round smartwatches, but further details on the features or price remain unknown.
