Honor has been teasing the Honor 400 series which it plans to unveil later this month. The new smartphones will also be unveiled in China, but it appears that the phones won't be the only new product as it has begun teasing a new tablet revealed to launch as the Honor Pad 10.
Ahead of the tablet's launch which is reported to be soon, some key details have surfaced. For starters, an official teaser says the Honor Pad 10 will be used for learning, so it is being targeted at students. The teaser also revealed it will have AI features that will aid in learning.
Another important detail that has surfaced but not from an official source is that the Honor Pad 10 will have dual front-facing cameras. There are speculations the dual cameras are for face recognition while others say they are for capturing 3D content.
It has also been revealed that the tablet will have a paper-like display that greatly reduces glare, and boast eye protection features that trumps that of other tablets. Considering the Honor Pad 10 is billed as a study companion, it makes sense that its display will be easy on the eyes.
There are still a lot that we don't know about the Honor Pad 10, but going by its predecessor, the Honor Pad 9 which was released in December 2023, we can expect the tablet to have a large display with a high refresh rate, stylus support, up to eight speakers, and an optional keyboard case. The Honor Pad 9 (available on Amazon.de for €237.95) got a global launch in 2024, so there's a likelihood the Honor Pad 10 will also make it out of China.
The Honor Pad 10 doesn't have a launch date yet, but it might be announced alongside the Honor 400 series.
