The Amazfit Balance 2 XT smartwatch has appeared in another leaked document. The original Balance 2 smartwatch was launched in China in May 2025 and was released globally in June. Rumors about the Balance 2 XT began earlier this year, and then it was spotted in an FCC filing.
Now, a document from EMVCo for the Amazfit Balance 2 XT has been found. This is a letter of approval for the unreleased wearable for the company’s contactless payment solution. Here, the watch is said to have model number A2546; earlier reports suggested that it would have model number A2547 or A2430. The file also suggests that the watch will run Zepp OS 4.0, though the standard Balance 2 smartwatch runs on the newer Zepp OS 5.0.
It is thought that the Balance 2 XT smartwatch will be a premium version of this new wearable with a titanium casing. The EMVCo document also indicates that it could have the Zepp Pay contactless payment feature, as is the case for the regular version, though this is currently limited to European countries.
Amazfit has yet to officially announce the Balance 2 XT smartwatch, with its release date and price remaining unknown. As an indication of how much it could cost, it is likely to be more expensive than the Amazfit Balance 2 XT, which is available for $299.99 at Amazon.
