Garmin has released beta version 9.25 for the Instinct 3 AMOLED, Instinct 3 Solar and Instinct E smartwatches. It arrives shortly after beta version 9.23, which brought minor bug fixes and improvements to these wearables.
In a post on the Garmin forum, the change log states that there are "miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements". This is identical wording to that used in beta version 9.23, with no details explaining where customers will benefit from these tweaks. Alongside this, there is a named bug fix for the Instinct 3 Solar and Instinct E smartwatches (curr. $299.99 at Amazon); a connectivity issue linked to the watches' Bluetooth sensors is said to have been resolved.
Garmin has confirmed that beta version 9.25 has already been pushed over the air (OTA) to all users of the Garmin Instinct 3 AMOLED, Instinct 3 Solar and Instinct E smartwatches. While these users should have received the update via Bluetooth when connected to the Garmin Connect app, it can also be installed via Garmin Express. It is unclear when the company will issue a stable software update in the 9.xx cycle.
