Tudor has quietly expanded its Pelagos FXD Chrono family with a limited "Yellow" edition conceived as a nod to brand ambassador - and two-time Olympic champion - Fabian Cancellara’s long relationship with the Tour de France. Only 300 individually numbered watches will be produced, with number 7 already set aside for Cancellara, the Swiss rider’s signature race number.
Like last year’s pink-dial Cycling Edition, the newcomer uses Tudor’s proprietary 43mm matte-finished carbon-composite case, capped by a titanium screw-down crown and a fixed 60-minute bezel. Despite its tool-watch aesthetic, the case remains slim (13.2 mm) and light with 100 m of water-resistance. Power comes from Tudor’s chronometer-certified MT5813 movement - a column-wheel, vertical-clutch chronograph with 70-hour power reserve and bidirectional rotor winding.
The matte black dial carries square hour markers and large "snowflake" hands filled with white Super-LumiNova, but the highlight is a ring of vivid yellow minute hashes and matching tachymeter numerals - Tudor’s colour reference to the leader’s jersey at the Tour. Two recessed totalizers track running seconds (9 o’clock) and 45-minute elapsed time (3 o’clock), while a color-matched date window sits discreetly at 6 o’clock.
Tudor pairs the watch with a one-piece black fabric strap featuring a central yellow stripe and titanium hardware for the team colours. The solid case-back is engraved "Édition Limitée 2025" around a stylized peloton motif and the individual serial number.
The Pelagos FXD Chrono "Yellow" is available immediately through Tudor boutiques and selected retailers. UK pricing is set at £4,650 (~$6,385), which is pretty consistent with previous FXD Chrono variants, though most pieces are expected to move quickly given the 300-unit cap.
