OnePlus is gearing up to launch new accessories, and the 43 mm Watch 3 is one of them. This new smartwatch was already officially teased earlier in June 2025, and now, the company has confirmed some of its specs through a press release.
As previously speculated, the 43 mm OnePlus Watch 3 and Oppo Watch X2 mini share similar specs. The press release mentions a smaller 1.32-inch display, matching what Oppo's new wearable comes with. In comparison, the 46 mm version comes with a 1.5-inch screen.
While the press release doesn't share other details on the screen, the display of the Oppo X2 mini is an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The press release does, however, confirm that the upcoming smaller Watch 3 will weigh only 1.3 ounces (around 37 grams), which, again, is the same as Oppo's wearable.
Another crucial aspect mentioned in the press release is the 2.5D micro-curved design. Its form factor is said to be compact, which will supposedly ensure all-day comfort.
The company also confirms that the Wear OS smartwatch will feature a stainless steel build and will be available in "Silver Steel" and "Black Steel" colorways. Besides these, the press release doesn't go much into the other specs of the upcoming 43 mm OnePlus Watch 3.
However, if it's indeed a rebrand of the Oppo Watch X2 mini, the new OnePlus smartwatch will feature the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC inside. It will be paired with the BES2800BP MCU, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of storage. Oppo promises up to 7 days of battery life in the power saver mode, and OnePlus's upcoming wearable is expected to have the same runtime rating.
Regarding the price, the 46 mm OnePlus Watch 3 launched at $330 but later got a price bump, and it currently costs $349.99 when there are no discounts in place. The 43 mm version is expected to be a little affordable (Watch 2R curr. $217 on Amazon), and it's worth noting that the Oppo Watch X2 mini had a Chinese launch price of CNY 1,799, around $251.
