In order to make laptop models as light as possible, Intel is trying its hand at fabric cases as seen on the "Twin River" prototype showcased at Computex this year. The fabric case is made of polyester, polyamide plus lycra, and it integrates a dual-display setup with 1080p touchscreens that can be used as a book / notepad or regular laptop mode with one screen acting as a touch keyboard.

The PCIe 4.0 standard support combined with the Phison PS5016-E16 controller and Toshiba's BiCS4 96-layer 3D TLC NAND memory chips allow the Aorus NVMe PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSDs to reach sequential read and write speeds of 5 GB/s and 4.4 GB/s, respectively. A Geekbench OpenCL benchmark score for Intel’s Iris Plus Graphics has been unearthed, and it seems the Ice Lake variant of the iGPU has performed very well. The system in the test was a Dell XPS 13 convertible powered by a 10th Gen i7-1065 G7 processor. The recorded OpenCL score ended up being 61,949 points.
