Nvidia recently teased the word “Super” in a very brief promotional video that created speculation that the graphics card specialist had some new products coming. A new leak has suggested that the green team is preparing two new graphics cards for release that will feature Turing technology and will be positioned at the premium end of the market.

We recently reported about Nvidia’s teaser clip that was based on the single word “Super”. A report from French website Vonguru has delivered new information, which it says is “reliable”, about what the graphics card manufacturer is up to. Apparently, Nvidia will soon release two new graphics cards that are likely to have “Super” in their name to help differentiate them from existing products.

The Super cards will be based on Turing technology but have faster memory and higher clocks than their current GeForce RTX 20-series counterparts. Vonguru’s report states that one of the cards will be positioned between the GeForce RTX 2070 and GeForce RTX 2080, while the other will slot in neatly between the GeForce RTX 2080 and GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. At least, this is what the website’s industry insider sources have claimed.

The new Nvidia Super range of graphics cards could supposedly see the light of day anytime soon or at least in the first couple of weeks of June. It seems that Nvidia and AMD are playing a game of cat-and-mouse, with one waiting to see what move the other is going to make, which is why so little information about "Super" cards has been revealed so far. It’s also possible that the current GeForce RTX 20-series cards, especially the RTX 2070 and RTX 2080, will have their prices reduced to help boost sales.
