Samsung's Galaxy Watch Active 2 just got certified by South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) to measure blood pressure. It works by reading input data from the wearable's heart rate sensor and comparing it with pre-calibrated values measured via a traditional cuff-based blood pressure monitoring system. The feature will be available to everyone by Q3 2020.
