TCL introduced its potentially groundbreaking NXTPAPER display tech at IFA this year. However, it is still at too early a stage for its 2 new tablets, although they are outfitted with IPS panels with this OEM's own up-to-date adaptations. The TCL 10 TABMAX is a 10.36-inch FHD+ slate that supports a TCL Stylus and is sustained by an 8000mAh battery. Its maker claims it is ideal for video-calls, creative work and education.
The OEM claims its NXTVISION screen also reduces latency and noise to enhance these use-cases. The TCL 10 TABMID has an 8-inch screen, although it is still FHD+. It is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC (although that of the 10 TABMAX was not mentioned) and has a 5500mAh battery.
Both tablets are to become available in the last quarter of 2020, and have recommended prices as follows: €229 (~US$271) for the 10 TABMID (Wi-Fi/4G); €249 (~$294) for the Wi-Fi-only 10 TABMAX; or €299 (~$353) for the 10-incher with 4G.
TCL also has new MOVEAUDIO S200 earbuds to showcase at IFA 2020. They feature electronic noise cancellation (ENC) and quad mics to ensure call quality. Their Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity is distributed across a dual-transmission system to reduce latency.
The IP54-rated buds come in black, white or teal cases rated for up to 23 hours of battery life (whereas the S200s last for about 3 hours on their own), and will be priced at €99 (~$117) on their release at the end of September 2020.
