Xiaomi is billed to launched the Mi 11 Pro soon and a new report has now tipped the upcoming flagship to make at least one major improvement over the Mi 11 that was released last week. Yes, the Mi 11 Pro is expected to ditch the 108 MP on the Mi 11 in favor of a more sophisticated sensor.

AnTuTu’s price-performance charts for December make for good reading for Xiaomi. The new Mi 11 tops the most-expensive smartphone table while sub-brand Redmi has the top spot in the three cheapest charts. However, the Realme X50 Pro 5G prevents Xiaomi from commanding all five charts by heading up the 3,000-4,499 yuan list.

Intel investor Third Point is urging for the adoption of serious measures to restore the chip maker's market position. Acer has introduced the Chromebook Spin 514 — the first Chromebook to be powered by AMD Ryzen 3000C series of Chromebook APUs. Acer shared details on three new gaming monitors at CES 2021 today. The Nitro XV282K KV will be one of the first monitors to bring HDMI 2.1 to desktops, as well as 4K 144 Hz. The other monitors also offer high resolutions with high refresh rates, but they cost a pretty penny.

Lenovo has launched the Yoga AIO 7 desktop PC at CES 2021. The Yoga AIO 7, also known as Yoga 27 in China, is powered by AMD Renoir 4000 H-series APUs and the NVIDIA RTX 2060 GPU. The Yoga AIO 7 comes with built-in casting hardware and a future update will enable the AIO to function as a standalone 4K smart TV as well.

If the anonymous sources from China prove to be right, the next-gen low-cost iPad will launch later this year with a design closely based on the third-generation iPad Air that was introduced back in 2019. The highlights will include the same 10.2-inch screen size, but lower weight and a thinner chassis.

Lenovo has introduced the mid-range Tab P11 Android tablet powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. Lenovo has brought 5G connectivity to the IdeaPad series with the IdeaPad 5G. Realme has now launched its newest device, the Realme V15 5G, in China. The Realme V15 5G offers an AMOLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 800U under the hood, with the entire package bearing a resemblance to the Redmi Note 9 5G that was launched last month.

In an interview with news outlet MyDrivers, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has stated that the company has shifted its research and development efforts towards camera improvements. Lau aims to bring OnePlus' cameras on par with the likes of Huawei. Hence, the company is working closely with Leica.

Lenovo has launched the Lenovo L24i and L27e monitors at CES 2021. The former comes with a 23.8-inch FHD panel clocked at 75Hz, while the latter is 27-inches in size. The Lenovo L24i will cost €149 (US$183) and the L27e at €169 (US$207). Both monitors will be available for purchase in March 2021.

Samsung's answer to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, the Exynos 2100, will officially be unveiled on January 12. Preliminary tests have revealed that both chips perform on par with each other. The Exynos 2100 will make its debut alongside the Samsung Galaxy S21 series on January 15.

Although HTC is no longer a key player in the smartphone market, they are still afloat. The next handset to come from this legendary brand is the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G, which was recently spotted with three cameras on the back, dual-SIM capability, as well as Android 10-based firmware.
