Android Police contributors claim to have stumbled upon OnePlus' new Health app. This OEM does not have devices that match its use-case right now - but it is slated to add some soon in the form of its first-gen Band and (probably) Watch. The blog has noticed that the app's design may be familiar to fans of these wearables' OPPO counterparts, as it apparently has borrowed heavily from that company's HeyTap Health software.
On the other hand, OnePlus seems to have also produced a raft of new faces for both its Band and Watch. Those for the latter are clearly designed for a round face, which may (again) mean that OPPO's own Watch RX might turn out with similar designs. The new app leak offers yet more hints as to how the Band will function and work for the user.
For example, GIFs captured from its alleged UI tutorials points to the blood-oxygen monitoring abilities hinted at in an earlier tip. It also responds to gesture controls such as scrolling when the user passes their hand over its (clearly standard strip-like) display. Workouts can also be tracked using the app on a connected phone.
Then again, all of these new claimed OnePlus wearable details may be confirmed or denied at their launch. To date, it is not known if the Band and Watch will debut together or separately, or if we have to wait until March 2021 to see either device alongside the flagship 9-series smartphones.
