Leaked image of OnePlus Watch Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition straps gives hope that the smartwatch might be launched soon

There is still hope for a OnePlus Watch appearance in the not too distant future thanks to an image (see below) of some watch straps shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station. The straps clearly show that there is a Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition of the OnePlus Watch in the works. It was believed OnePlus would reveal a smartwatch in October, but just like the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 action game from CD Projekt Red, the wearable’s launch has been delayed.  

The image only features the straps for the OnePlus Watch Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition device, which is unfortunate as it would be interesting to see if the Chinese OEM goes with the oft-rumored circular housing for its entry into the smartwatch world. The strap is decked out in the appropriate black and yellow color scheme, as was recently shown with the limited edition OnePlus 8T, with the Cyberpunk logo on one side and the OnePlus logo on the other side.

CD Projekt Red recently announced that Cyberpunk 2077 was going to be delayed until at least December 10, and this would seem like an ideal time for OnePlus to launch such a themed smartwatch. There are rumors that the OnePlus Watch has been delayed because of software issues, with Wear OS potentially being onboard. Hopefully, it won’t be too long before more of the OnePlus Watch Cyberpunk 2077 wearable is revealed.
